Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including back-end support, forecasting, model management, and Office Connect.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong comfort working with large, complex financial models.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with attention to details.
  • Ability to adapt to and lead changes in a business environment.
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ of experience with building in Power BI (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in Workday ERP (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry (preferred).
  • Workday/Adaptive Insights or Power BI certifications a plus.
  • CPA or CFA a plus.
  • Experience working with BI tools (Power BI preferred) and translating data into business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise-wide forecasting, budgeting, and financial decision-making within the Corporate FP&A team.
  • Partner with Finance leadership, Corporate functions (IT, HR, Compliance, Procurement), and operational leaders to deliver accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and disciplined financial execution.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Develop strategic plans for company growth based on in-depth financial analyses in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Act as internal admin for Adaptive Insights, managing ongoing maintenance, new model builds/rebuilds, integrations, formulas, and Office Connect.
  • Own and maintain rolling forecasts (e.g., 10+2, 11+1, 4+8) within Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring timely and accurate updates across various cost categories.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and service line leaders to track and forecast business trends and their financial impact.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and operating metrics for regular financial results meetings, sponsor meetings, and operational reviews.
  • Support annual budget cycles, including detailed modeling, version control, and coordination with functional owners.
  • Act as a finance partner to Corporate teams (IT, HR, Risk, Strategy), supporting cost management, vendor spend reviews, variance analysis, and project tracking.
  • Ensure alignment between Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and source systems by identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Serve as a trusted finance point-of-contact for leaders, clearly communicating assumptions, risks, and implications of financial decisions.
  • Ensure all activities align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and Finance leadership.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Elara financial and accounting systems (Workday).
  • Facilitate the preparation and review of ad-hoc reports to address critical business issues.
  • Promote Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement, and administrative policies.
  • Maintain patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
