About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analytics Associate to join our Capital Finance Team in our corporate office in Denver, CO. This role involves providing quality reporting with actionable insights, supporting business groups with analytics, diagnosing complex situations, and contributing to strategic decision-making through data modeling. The position also plays a key role in the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis processes, as well as preparing senior management and board of directors reporting.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years' experience in Financial Analysis is required
  • Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills including multi-year forecasting and three-statement models
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Combines detail-oriented focus and a balance of big-picture perspective

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality reporting with actionable insight
  • Support business groups across the organization with analytics
  • Diagnose complex situations and develop or assist with solution implementation
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting, processes including collecting, analyzing and loading projections as well as documenting assumptions.
  • Perform data modeling to support strategic decision making.
  • Support monthly and quarterly variance analysis of business performance versus annual budget and forecast.
  • Produce monthly senior management reporting regarding organizational performance.
  • Assists with accounting and financial reporting to support quarterly earnings releases and regulatory filings.
  • Direct involvement in preparing quarterly reporting for the board of directors and shareholders.
