About The Position

OVERVIEW Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos, Airheads, Dentyne, Trident and Bubblicious!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Sr. Financial Analyst to join our growing team. WHAT YOU WILL DO The Sr. Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and planning across corporate functions and regional business units. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support decision-making, financial transparency, and process improvement. Specific responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Finance experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in predicative modeling of sales and profit performance to provide management and brand team insights.
  • Experience developing and managing COGS and P&L's including margin analysis to validate accuracy across brands and products, Trade and Advertising spend analysis to indicate drivers of spending changes and management to budgets.
  • Experience with volume and sales forecasting, forecast management and presentation of analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong process orientation and focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation – with the ability to discuss business issues and action plans in a simple, easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing and/or CPG experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial reporting, planning, and analysis for corporate support function cost centers including HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Regulatory, and other leadership cost areas.
  • Lead periodic and annual forecasting and budgeting processes for balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow statements for the US and Canada business.
  • Support consolidated financial reporting across all business units including US, Canada, Mexico, and LATAM, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment of financial data.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights on actuals vs. forecast vs. budget for corporate cost centers and consolidated financial results.
  • Partner with Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, and regional finance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial inputs and reporting outputs.
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools, and standardization across regions and functions.
  • Assist with executive-level reporting packages and ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
