The Senior Financial Analyst supports the FP&A Manager by providing forward-looking decision support and preparing insightful planning and analysis. This role requires continuous enhancement of knowledge of Victaulic’s products and operational processes, and gaining an understanding of the business through constant interaction with the operations team and management. Victaulic is involved in some of the most prestigious construction projects worldwide, increasing stability and sustainability. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ years of related business experience
  • Courage and curiosity to ask questions and change processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels of operations management and team
  • Periodic travel to select facilities as required
  • Results oriented with ability to work under tight timelines
  • A team player with a “can do” attitude with a roll up your sleeves working style
  • Expert knowledge of excel
  • Exposure to CPM (OneStream, HFM) / BI (Qlik / Tableau / Power BI)
  • Strong power point and presentation skills needed
  • A solid understanding of database structure (CRM, data warehouse, ERP, etc.)
  • Experience with a variety of financial systems
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work, prioritize and execute
  • Act as a change agent – someone who can adapt to and drive a culture change within this organization

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CPA degree
  • Financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to operations and management for financial analyses and scenario planning
  • Business partner with operations team
  • Analyze KPIs – support management with data driven analysis
  • Review results, communicate variances
  • Cost savings program measurement & analysis
  • Continuous review of financial drivers to develop actionable commentary
  • Provide monthly reports and present to management team
  • Prepare analysis for communication to management team
  • Drive new topics for presentation
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations (for Annual Budget)
  • Continually improve forecasting process (for Annual Budget)
  • Assist in annual product re-costing (for Annual Budget)
  • Review/update ROI on significant capital investments (for Capital Planning / Spend Analysis)
  • Assist management with Business Cases (NPD), Process Optimization, M&A support, Capacity Planning, etc. (for Special Projects)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
  • Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives and decision making
