About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH Functions division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid work opportunity for Eaton. Candidates must live within 50 miles of either Eaton's Southfield MI and/or Galesburg MI facilities. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis

  • No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Southfield MI and/or Galesburg MI. (Active Duty Military service members are exempt from this geographical limitation)

Responsibilities

  • HQ budget control, working with the senior leadership team to ensure its effectiveness on expenses and investments control
  • Ensure proper reporting of budgets, forecasts and updates, as well as actual versus forecast analysis
  • Ensure the proper reporting of figures into oracle planning, either for the P&L, BS and memo reporting impact
  • Work as a financial branch for restructuring programs, ensuring its effectiveness and timely
  • Work with accounting time to ensure proper reporting of financial information
  • Control and report all expenses related to HQ ledgers, such as, but not limited to: Payroll, depreciation, services, rentals, etc.
  • Report all financial demands for restructuring initiatives, either on a above or below operating profit perspective, but also ensuring its correct statics accounting booking
  • Prepare reports, presentations and executive reviews
  • Supports other Mobility product line finance leaders as needed in times of peak or complex analysis
  • Supports regional teams in Profit Plan and Strat Plan revenue target development
  • Drives input process and data quality for product level reporting and enforces best practices on assumptions and inputs
  • Lead and ensure a strong culture of financial controls, ethics, and compliance
