About The Position

Join our Agency Planning FP&A team and help drive the financial strategy behind our Commercial Lines (CFR) business—partner with leaders, turn data into insight, and influence decisions that grow profitability! In this role, you’ll translate financial and operational data into clear insights that support business decisions, planning, and performance measurement. You’ll partner closely with divisional leaders and cross-functional teams to inform strategy, improve results, and advance corporate financial and growth goals.

Requirements

  • Experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Experience with financial statements and management reporting.
  • Experience performing complex financial and operational analysis (e.g., drivers, trends, sensitivities, profitability).
  • Working knowledge of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and/or data mining.
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting and operations.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, asking the right questions, and turning complex information into practical insights.
  • Understand how to build strong partnerships across teams.
  • Communicate clearly—especially when explaining “what it means” and “what we should do next.”

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the annual Profit & Growth Plan and support reforecasting cycles throughout the year.
  • Provide complex and/or strategic financial and operational analysis to support business partners and divisional leadership.
  • Develop insights and recommendations and communicate them in a clear, compelling way for varying audiences.
  • Represent the division by presenting analyses regularly to divisional leadership and occasionally to executive leadership.
  • Use forecasting and modeling techniques to evaluate financial and growth impacts of business decisions and scenarios.
  • Research, design, and develop comprehensive management reporting for all levels of leadership.
  • Partner with divisional leaders to build metrics that assess performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a finance subject matter expert on critical cross-functional initiatives and teams.
