About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Technical Accounting, Controls & Compliance to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and overall financial integrity. This is a skills-based role where the successful candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, discipline in documentation, and comfort working across systems and stakeholders. Specific responsibilities will be defined based on business needs and the candidate’s strengths, and may evolve to include close activities, accounting policy interpretation, incentive programs, reserves, or other controllership mandates.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in accounting, audit, or controllership.
• Proven attention to detail, ownership of deliverables, and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and their practical application.
• Ability to research, interpret, and clearly explain accounting guidance.
• Experience within a controls framework (e.g., SOX), including documentation, execution, and testing.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/finance systems.
• Openness to using AI tools and automation to streamline recurring tasks and strengthen controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• Professional designation (e.g., CPA) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concise technical documentation for management and auditors.
• Identify risks and support continuous improvement of processes and controls.
• Perform or support period-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile data across systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with finance, ops, IT, and audit.
• Summarize complex issues.
