If so; then Collins Aerospace is the place for you! As a Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance you will work onsite supporting our Landing Systems Site operations team in Haltom City, TX. You will assist in leading operations monthly, annual and LRP budgeting process for Operational and General & Administrative (G&A) expenses and develop annual operating expense plans and monthly forecasts for the Haltom City/Fort Worth site. This is an individual contributor role. The position is working onsite at our Fort Worth, TX facility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience

  • Financial planning experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc)
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • SAP/ERP experience

Responsibilities

  • Closing, forecast and long-range plan (LRP) reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare materials for inclusion in closing and forecast packages and LRP presentations on key operational metrics, assumptions, and variances
  • Present monthly financial results to the Operations leadership
  • Create monthly journal entries for LG military P&L and BS
  • Assist in loading monthly forecast into central finance database
  • Assist in managing daily operations dashboard for productivity, efficiency, utilization, hours and other operational metrics
  • Assist in monthly cycle counting process
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support the site VSL and operations leaders as needed
  • Responsible for ensuring site operational controls are adhered to
  • Conduct monthly review of operational results to ensure accurate reporting
