Provide financial services to profit center. Partner with Financial Manager and department heads in management of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will create a supportive environment to develop a high-performing team, provide training opportunities, and engage in coaching and mentoring relationships. This role involves leading accountants and other related team members, providing timely performance feedback, and contributing to performance appraisals utilizing talent management systems. The analyst will also develop and deliver training to educate staff members regarding related department processes. Additionally, the role requires partnering with the Financial Manager to provide year-end detailed analysis and work papers for the corporate audit, reviewing quarterly account reconciliations, and making recommendations for improvement. The analyst will review monthly G&A, monitor and participate in updating the forecast, and actively contribute to cash management and profit enhancement initiatives. This position also involves partnering with the Financial Manager on the development and preparation of the annual profit plan and forecasting reports, ensuring rigorous and ethical standards of compliance with external requirements (GAAP, IAS, FARS, ERISA and IRS) and internal company policies. The role includes assisting the Financial Manager on financial risk management and supporting the development of policies and procedures, working with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure staff compliance with company policy, and helping to determine specific policy amendments as needed for the business unit. The analyst will identify risks on projects that impact earnings and provide guidance and advice on risk assessment for Profit Plans & CABs.
