One Family.   Purpose StatementThis role will act as financial support for the Corporate Business Development and M&A group at Rich's headquarters, focusing on development of Rich’s global growth/M&A strategy and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. The role positions motivated professionals on dynamic, high-performing teams to develop critical thinking, sophisticated financial modeling, and extensive communication skills within a fast-paced work environment. As a key member of our Corporate Business Development team, you will play an integral role in high visibility projects while gaining exposure to key executive leaders throughout our organization. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in a financial analyst, accounting, or related role with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience building presentations in Power Point
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of finance and accounting (GAAP) principles
  • Strong organization, project management, and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership
  • Familiarity with SAP and PowerBI is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, or progression towards CPA is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide key support in identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, divestiture, and joint venture activities.
  • Build financial valuation models using discounted cash flow, precedent transactions, trading comparables, and LBO methodologies
  • Perform key valuation metrics, including financial forecast, synergies, investment return metrics, and accretion/dilution analysis
  • Develop executive-level presentation materials to communicate the financial business case and educate Rich’s Senior Executives & Board Members regarding ongoing M&A opportunities and performance
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts and preliminary integration planning on potential acquisition opportunities
  • Support in leading internal functional diligence teams comprised of operational, HR, legal, and other subject matter experts
  • Support the company’s strategic planning efforts to identify growth priorities and develop acquisition pipeline
  • Critically thinking to evaluate strategic rationale for a potential acquisition, strategic fit, and how the target may create synergies with Rich’s existing capabilities
  • Perform analysis of competitor benchmarks and industry trends
  • Providing support for special projects (e.g., new industry research, strategic financial analysis, network optimization, new business initiatives, among others)
