About The Position

Applied Materials is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst III to support its Global Corporate Functions team. The role supports financial close, forecasting, balance sheet review, and annual operating plan (AOP) reporting and analysis. It helps maintain the finance operating rhythm through coordination and communication across the organization, provides reporting and analysis to Finance, Indirect Procurement, HR, and Legal partners, and works to streamline reporting, centralize analytics, and improve processes. The analyst also serves as a liaison between Corporate Functions and Corporate FP&A to support accurate financial reporting and effective communication. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and includes travel 10% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a business-related degree is preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Strong systems skills, including Excel, AI, BPC, Anaplan, and SAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners to help drive priorities and strategy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Motivation to work within a team in a supportive environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with BPC and Anaplan is a strong plus.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a business-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
