The ideal candidate can be located in Raritan, NJ or, Titusville NJ. Purpose : The Senior Finance Analyst will report to the Finance Manager of GCSO and be responsible for providing financial reporting and business partner support to the Worldwide Vice President of Immunology and Neuroscience. This role will require the individual to partner with the team to best address the organization’s objectives to amplify our commercial and medical affairs strategies and to optimize our strategic investments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural team environment, required.
  • Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and management influencing skills are required.
  • Individual must work independently, manage several tasks simultaneously and optimally undertake on leadership roles in various areas, required.
  • The ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to all areas of the organization, including Executive Leadership is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required (Formulas, VLOOKUP functions, Pivot Tables).
  • This position can be located at Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership for Immunology and Neuroscience across all disease area strongholds (DAS) including our alliance partnered assets
  • Act as the single point of contact across multiple therapeutic area partners including senior leadership
  • Budgetary tracking and decision support including close responsibilities, financial planning/forecasting, and identification and elimination of non-value-added activities to achieve continuous improvement, etc.
  • Lead improvements in analytics and reporting for Immunology and Neuroscience investments and resource deployment
  • Enhance and develop innovative reporting and standardized processes that provide improved insights to finance and business leadership
  • Lead & participate in ad hoc (strategic) projects, operational improvement initiatives, portfolio prioritization, and support of Pharm GOC level updates and/or special requests
