About The Position

Darigold is seeking an experienced and motivated FP&A Senior Financial Analyst, who will report to the Director of FP&A, and will play a key role in shaping and forming Darigold’s strategic positioning and execution. This role provides the opportunity for an analytically minded individual with strong communication and modeling skills to define critical insights, influence decision-making and drive alignment across the organization. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership to evaluate business performance, assess financial trade-offs and support long-term strategic planning initiatives that enhance profitability and growth. Darigold is the fifth largest dairy cooperative in the United States based on milk volume and one of the largest privately held organizations headquartered in the state of Washington. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance or financial planning & analysis.
  • Proven experience in working in cross-functional teams and managing large-scale budgets, particularly in production or supply chain environments.
  • Excellent financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Oracle, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is preferred.
  • Advanced experience with data visualization and reporting tools (PowerBI) is preferred.
  • Experience or technical understanding in manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal and communication skills is preferred.
  • Experience with Essbase and Oracle systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis of manufacturing results, including plant performance, production costs and variance analysis. Translate findings into actionable insights that support cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and consolidation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations. Monitor trends, variances and key drivers to ensure accurate planning and resource allocation across plants.
  • Partner closely with operations leadership to provide financial insights that improve efficiency and overall performance in the manufacturing network.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of business planning processes for manufacturing, including Integrated Business Planning and Monthly Business Reviews.
  • Assist in modernizing reporting tools and processes to provide timely, accurate visibility into plant and manufacturing performance.
  • Communicate results and recommendations clearly to both finance and manufacturing leadership, ensuring alignment between financial objectives and operational priorities.

  • Compensation range: $99,548.46 - $149,322.69 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge and skills)
