Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partner roles, with strong exposure to forecasting, budgeting, variance steering, and management reporting in operational or cost-driven environments
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred; CPA or Finance Certification a plus) and are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • You have advanced Excel skills, hands-on experience with SQL or similar BI tools, and a talent for going beyond the numbers, translating complex data into clear, compelling stories that inform decisions at every level
  • You demonstrate strong financial judgment, a structured independent working style, and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • You are success-oriented with a high ownership mentality, taking full accountability for forecast accuracy, cost governance, and the quality of insights you deliver to the business
  • You work autonomously, take full ownership of your projects, and consistently deliver results with a proactive, dependable mindset including curiosity and openness to AI-enabled tools and modern controlling technologies

Responsibilities

  • You support senior leadership and the CFO by preparing management reporting, board-level decision materials, and financial performance summaries that enable confident, fact-based decisions
  • You manage monthly forecasts, outlooks, and budget tracking for fleet costs including repair & maintenance, tolls, and vehicle registration ensuring accuracy, consistency of assumptions, and full transparency of risks and opportunities
  • You liaise with Operations, Finance leadership, Legal, and business owners to align on targets, accountability structures, and the financial impact of operational programs and corrective actions
  • You maintain and continuously improve financial reporting, dashboards, KPI frameworks, and data quality standards to support rigorous cost governance and performance tracking
  • You receive performance data across fleet cost categories, conducting in-depth variance analysis (Actual vs. Plan vs. Forecast) to identify root causes and drive structured action tracking
  • You assist in identifying structural cost drivers, inefficiencies, and savings opportunities translating financial insights into specific steering actions and continuous improvement initiatives
