About The Position

Brady Corporation is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst – External Reporting. In this key global role based at our Milwaukee headquarters, you will support the preparation, analysis, and execution of SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements. Reporting directly to the Manager, SEC Reporting, you will work closely with the global finance and accounting organization to ensure proper accounting and reporting of the total company consolidated financial statements, driving both technical excellence and compliance across our international business units.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, drafting, and filing of Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other critical filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and related footnotes/disclosures for the quarterly earnings release, 10-Q, and 10-K, including managing the XBRL tagging process.
  • Coordinate the distribution and review of the 10-Q and 10-K drafts with internal stakeholders, including legal, senior leadership, and external auditors.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial statement consolidation and close process, focusing on preparation of the consolidated statement of cash flows.
  • Maintain and ensure proper accounting for leases globally and lead the accounting and reconciliation for total company equity-based compensation and other comprehensive income.
  • Prepare or review global account reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis to ensure balance sheet integrity.
  • Assist with the financial and operational integration of recent acquisitions.
  • Monitor emerging U.S. GAAP standards and SEC guidance to ensure internal procedures and financial disclosures remain fully compliant.
  • Act as a technical accounting resource for global finance teams, supporting GAAP inquiries, performing policy research, and documenting conclusions.
