About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Enabling Tech Supply Chain role, to provide financial leadership to the DePuy Synthes Manufacturing business in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role will offer financial support to the local supply chain manufacturing organization. Johnson & Johnson is planning to separate its Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, within 18-24 months. If hired, you would become an employee of DePuy Synthes following the transaction, subject to their employment processes and policies. DePuy Synthes is a leading provider of comprehensive orthopedics solutions across various specialties, aiming to advance patient care and deliver clinical and economic value. The Senior Financial Analyst will be the standard costing specialist for US Orthopedics platforms, providing financial insights to drive business objectives and inform leadership of standard costing impacts. Additionally, this role will serve as the finance lead supporting the Raynham & Bridgewater teams, offering guidance and business support.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of finance experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • A collaborative style and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively interface with various levels of management is required.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment, recommend and implement process improvements, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail are required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • A CPA, MBA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Anaplan and/or similar financial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the monthly financial close process for the local ledger, ensuring accurate and timely updates of sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
  • Prepare and submit standard monthly management reports, performing detailed variance analysis on P+L and balance sheet items.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for journal entries to ensure accurate and timely posting to the general ledger.
  • Provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to DePuy Synthes supply chain finance and category teams.
  • Forecast, track, and analyze MFG-related projects, capital investment requirements, market-based inflation drivers, and functional costs.
  • Manage the annual and ad-hoc standard cost process for the Orthopedics franchise.
  • Execute cost simulation and final execution of annual standard costing.
  • Maintain and analyze actual vs. standard manufacturing variances.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and partner with peers to develop future state process improvements.
  • Support and coordinate financial compliance efforts, including internal and external audit requirements.
  • Support the PBG Enabling Tech MFG Value Stream by providing financial metric insights and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from Supply Chain Leadership.
  • Own Standard Operating Procedures and process flow charts, updating them periodically as processes evolve.
  • Support other ad-hoc projects and analysis requests for Orthopedics Supply Chain.
