About The Position

This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst focused on Decision Support within the Texas Health Corporate finance team. The position involves supporting system-wide budgeting, planning, forecasting, and analytics using tools like Oracle EPBCS and Strata. The analyst will collaborate with various business units, assist in developing financial models, and contribute to training efforts. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree.
3 Years Finance or accounting experience.
Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Nice To Haves

1 Year Healthcare Budgeting and/or Financial Planning experience.
1 Year Hospital Finance experience.
Experience with healthcare decision support systems, such as: EPSi, Strata, or Oracle EPBCS.
CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

Organization and support of opportunity assessments for system-wide initiatives, including assessment, pro forma, and business case audits, as well as communication with authors and senior leadership.
Supporting and assisting system-wide users of the Oracle EPBCS planning system as it relates to the operational and capital budget.
Providing professional communication between the THR Corporate finance team and various THR channels and other business units.
Assisting with the development of system-wide assumptions for the budget and multi-year planning cycle, including coordination with the Business Transformation Office (BTO) on data loading budget templates and corporate assumptions.
Supporting corporate leadership, channel leaders, and other business units with analytic requests.
Supporting the development and dissemination of Service Line / Channel reports.
Assisting and supporting business units with pro forma and business case development.
Supporting system-wide business units with ad hoc report requests related to Oracle EPBCS and Strata.
Assisting in all matters related to the current year forecasting, including communications, development and dissemination of corporate assumptions, and gathering and loading Joint Venture forecasts.
Assisting, or possibly leading, training efforts related to budgeting, opportunity assessments, capital planning, and forecasts for users of Oracle EPBCS.
Assisting and/or supporting training for finance dashboards and routine financial reports (variances and trend analysis).
Assisting with EPBCS testing related to system issues or enhancement requests, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Troubleshooting system problems and collaborating effectively with ITS and other departments to resolve issues promptly and maintain EPBCS data integrity.
