Senior Financial Accountant
About The Position
We are searching for a Senior Financial Accountant to manage critical financial information to support our growing business and maintain our high standards for client service. This role requires versatility, resourcefulness, and attention to detail. The Senior Financial Accountant will be a contributing member of our inclusive culture, alongside a vibrant national team of people with a wide variety of backgrounds. They will flawlessly execute our financial and accounting practices and processes, including reports, annual budgets, presentations, and forecast updates. The role involves navigating the finance integration process of newly acquired entities with Westland policies and processes, sharing expertise in a variety of projects to improve financial and accounting practices, and responding to internal/external clients in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Analytical with an eye for the details
- Natural ability to build authentic relationships
- Master organizer, who can multitask and manage shifting priorities
- Natural problem solver with a keen eye for data and details
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
- A degree in Commerce or Business, with focus on Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of four years’ experience as a financial Accountant/senior financial Accountant role with at least seven years of professional experience
- CPA designation
- Experience streamlining processes
- Experience in auditing
