A job at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. TSMC Arizona’s first fab will operate its leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. The recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 3 years of accounting experience, OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Applying US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) practices
  • Analyzing financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and capital budgets to identify and correct errors and discrepancies
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and SAP to complete complex financial analyses
  • Designing and implementing audit testing and internal control procedures for managing fixed assets and identifying control deficiencies

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposed and revised budgets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Book and track related-party transactions.
  • Perform G/L account reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Provide assessments and improvements to financial systems; develop and implement financial accounting processes and controls; and utilize complex financial models to drive data collection and analysis to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational efficiencies.
  • Stay abreast of changes to accounting regulations and reporting standards to recommend appropriate changes to financial systems, processes, policies, and controls to ensure accuracy and financial compliance throughout TSMC’s financial accounting framework.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial entries in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and compliance with internal policies.
