Requirements

  • Minimum education level bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of related work experience with financial data architectures in an environment with complex data sources
  • 3+ years in a corporate finance department, producing both financial and management reports.
  • Experience administering complex financial master data tables and building stored procedures.
  • Experience designing and working with financial controls, particularly monthly close procedures.
  • Experience working with advanced FP&A systems (deFacto or BPC a plus) and ERP environments (Dynamics 365 a plus)
  • Functional understanding of KPI formulas, consolidation & eliminations, FX translation, and balance sheet analyses
  • Functional knowledge of business intelligence tools (Power BI or Tableau)
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) accreditation a plus
  • Experience working with advanced FP&A systems (deFacto or BPC a plus) and ERP environments (Dynamics 365 a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Function as central expert on financial master data, the chart of accounts, and FP&A system design
  • Grow into a lead architect role for the financial data architecture, managing dimension members and hierarchies while guiding consistency of data concepts across the financial systems.
  • Build analytics and system processes for management reporting and financial data visualization.
  • Function as central lead administrator for standard FP&A system business processes and activities
  • Identify and deploy procedures to improve data capture and manage exception reporting.
  • Create and deliver routine training about master data and the financial systems.
  • Onboard new FP&A users, providing training and support to finance team members.
  • Assist Master Data team in FP&A system security controls and administration.
  • Work with IT team to ensure consistency between financial system data structures and other global system environments.
  • Build and maintain standard corporate management reporting templates, producing, and analyzing routine output of such reports during monthly close cycles.
