About The Position

As a Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be part of our DEWALT Finance team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll support the execution around the strategy of our DEWALT team including category analysis, portfolio analysis, global marketing, new product development, and entry into new markets. You will define the appropriate focus areas and portfolio families (i.e. geography, customer, brand, market share, margin, etc.) specific to the Tools & Outdoor industry, driving portfolio growth and margin expansion. You will maintain a new product roadmap funnel that achieves the strategic goals of the DEWALT Brand while maintaining the proper capital and cost results. You will evaluate the financial potential of New Product Development (NPD) programs using Return on Capital (ROC) models and review key NPD metrics – IRR, NPV, and Payback. You will develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships across all facets of the organization (i.e. Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, etc.) – driving process enhancement and leading to full global P&L excellence within the DEWALT Brand. You will lead the DEWALT KPI and operating rhythm structure, coordinating across the DEWALT Leadership Team and cross-functional groups. You will partner with the Global Brand Strategy Team to manage effective use of go-to-market budgets across key regions and channels. You will also drive process improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics with strong analytical skills.
  • 10+ years of finance or business-related experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and leadership.
  • Strong problem solving, business case development, and communication skills.
  • High business acumen and increased collaboration with both cross-functional and business leaders.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI and/or Alteryx experience a plus.
