  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, including comfort communicating with executive management at Microsoft.
  • Ability to manage multiple inputs across many stakeholders and prioritize effort on the main drivers.

  • Executive-level oral and written communication skills, including ability to explain complex analysis and models simply and interact with individual contributors and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Use AI-assisted development and automation to reduce manual effort, shorten turnaround times, and improve consistency.
  • Maintain connections between source data, analytical logic, shared definitions, and executive reporting to ensure outputs are accurate, consistent, and traceable.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across data queries, calculations, scripts, dashboards, and publishing workflows while preserving existing functionality.
  • Build practical, reusable workflows for close, forecasting, business reviews, and recurring analysis.
  • Connect existing analytical capabilities into end-to-end processes instead of creating disconnected tools or duplicating work.
  • Build solutions that are straightforward to operate and extend, with clear ownership and appropriate safeguards for financial data and shared outputs.
  • Understand Azure revenue drivers and the financial definitions underlying the team’s reporting.
  • Reconcile outputs to authoritative sources and distinguish actuals, plans, forecasts, and preliminary results.
  • Turn complex analysis into clear dashboards and views that support leadership reviews.
