About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Strategic Finance, to join the Global High Tech Sector in Naperville, IL. As Ecolab’s fastest-growing business, Global High Tech is expanding rapidly, supported by the recent acquisitions of CoolIT Systems and Ovivo’s electronics business. This high-visibility role will be a key finance partner to the EVP & General Manager and play a critical part in supporting the sector’s growth. Responsibilities include executive business reviews, annual planning and forecasting, P&L management, and earnings release preparation. The role reports directly to the VP of Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
  • 10 years of experience
  • 7 years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, commercial finance, supply chain finance, controlling, and business partnering
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, business drivers, and economic analysis
  • Skilled at translating enterprise goals and financial insights into actions that drive growth and profitability
  • Executive presence to influence leaders and clearly communicate complex financial topics
  • Proven track record building trusted partnerships across business, functional, and finance teams
  • Self-starter who can manage shifting priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the AI value chain including Data Centers, Microelectronics, or related
  • CPA or MBA in finance
  • Knowledge of enterprise level finance systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, providing insights to support growth, profitability, and long-term objectives across the GHT Sector
  • Lead core financial planning processes, including the annual plan, forecasts, business reviews, and executive reporting.
  • Drive performance management by tracking results, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering actionable analysis.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders on headcount, operating expense, and resource planning.
  • Evaluate strategic investments, including capex, while overseeing credit management to improve returns and support growth.
  • Support investor relations and executive communications through earnings preparation, analysis, and performance narratives.
