About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager is the financial leader of our Contract Manufacturing organization—a high-impact, dual-mandate role that combines strategic business partnering with ownership of financial delivery. You will serve as the Co-Pilot to the Vice President of Contract Manufacturing, helping shape strategy, frame the decisions that matter, and connect financial outcomes to operational and commercial levers across a complex Co-Manufacturing network. In parallel, you will own the integrity of the numbers: forecasting, cost savings, master data, controls, and compliance. You will lead a small, talented finance team—developing team members and setting the standard for analytical quality and business partnering—while driving the digital and process transformation that makes the function faster, smarter, and more capable over time. This role partners closely with Contract Manufacturing, Operations Finance, and Senior Leadership. It is built for a finance leader who can demonstrate financial rigor and governance with the influence to drive measurable business results.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or a BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting.
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, including operational or manufacturing finance.
  • CPA, CMA, CFM, CCE, or MBA.
  • Food, CPG, or manufacturing industry experience.
  • Strong command of US GAAP (or IAS) and cost accounting / activity-based costing principles; familiarity with Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) for internal candidates.
  • Fluency in financial concepts including cash flow, NPV, IRR, return on investment, and Economic Profit, with the ability to model and communicate the drivers of product P&L.
  • Proven ability to design financial and non-financial KPIs that drive improved business performance.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; deep experience with SAP; proficiency with modern analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and a demonstrated bias toward automation.
  • Experience leading process transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives at scale.
  • Operate as a strategic partner to senior leadership—connecting financial analysis to operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Own financial delivery end-to-end with rigor, accuracy, and strong governance.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation through cross-functional partnership.
  • Lead, build, focus, and motivate effective teams, and develop talent.
  • Drive digital and process transformation that unlocks measurable capacity and improves decision quality.
  • Influence senior stakeholders with clear, concrete, well-structured financial support.
  • Network across functional and divisional silos and build consensus.
  • Identify and quantify risks and opportunities and shape the response.
  • Manage and prioritize competing demands to deliver the highest-impact results.
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively in written and verbal form, including executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the trusted financial advisor and Co-Pilot to the VP of Contract Manufacturing, bringing forward-looking insight, framing trade-offs, pressure-testing assumptions, and influencing strategy, investment, and cost decisions. Translate financial performance into a clear narrative for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Own the delivery of validated, well-governed cost savings across sourcing, negotiation, and savings projects, ensuring reliable timing and clear financial visibility throughout the year. Partner with Procurement and Operations Finance to build and proactively manage a multi-year savings pipeline, and ensure savings are accurately reflected against the P&L in current and future years.
  • Own forecasting for cost of production and related drivers across the Co-Manufacturing network. Establish a baseline for forecast accuracy, implement KPIs to track and improve it, and deliver scenario and risk/opportunity analysis that informs sound, timely decisions.
  • Ensure rigor and integrity across month-end close, scorecards, Bill of Materials (BOM), and master data. Provide analysis on obsolete materials—identifying trends and root causes behind raw and pack write-offs by division and co-manufacturer—and quantify the controllable opportunity.
  • Strengthen the control environment and ensure ongoing compliance readiness. Maintain compliance-ready documentation across processes, controls, and risks; conduct periodic self-assessments to identify and close gaps; and address prior findings with sustainable corrective actions ahead of formal reviews. Foster a culture of transparency, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the digital transformation of Contract Manufacturing Finance—accelerating automation and analytics adoption to simplify work, unlock measurable capacity from manual processes, and improve the speed and quality of financial decision-making. Champion durable, scalable systems solutions (including within SAP) and convert capacity unlocked into higher-value analysis.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Contract Manufacturing Finance team. Set clear, measurable objectives; provide regular, documented feedback; build robust development plans; and create a high-achieving, inclusive culture supported by clear action plans from employee listening and engagement programs.
