Senior Finance BI Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer solves complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You will report to the Associate Director of Business Intelligence. The Senior Finance Business Intelligence Engineer position responsibilities include: Support internal specialty team with data analytics and reports. Manage relationship with venders providing specialty care for specific medical conditions. Transform monthly payer financial data into standardized accounting format.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of data analytics experience OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience
- Advanced in SQL Query Development
- Advanced in Power BI report development (i.e., DAX, bookmarks, and data modeling)
- Familiarity with healthcare financial data or claims.
- Prior experience creating analytics solutions for several healthcare sectors
- Analyze data to solve several business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
