Sr Finance Analyst
About The Position
Forged Fiber is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to drive financial planning and decision support across the organization. The role develops and manages operating expense forecasts, performs variance analysis, and evaluates capital investment opportunities. The analyst partners with business leaders to understand operational drivers, challenge assumptions, and deliver actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Success requires strong financial modeling, analytical rigor, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for leadership, while improving processes and efficiency. This is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado. The anticipated base salary range is $81,440 to $122,160, with individual pay based on skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to inform forecast assumptions and understand variances between actual financial results and budget.
- Evaluate and approve funding requests for capital investment projects.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and financial summaries that communicate key insights and business impacts.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting capabilities, and financial processes through automation and enhanced analytics.
- Support annual budgeting and long-range planning activities.
