About The Position

The Finance Projects and Strategy team is responsible for developing and managing an active list of department initiatives and projects. The team is dynamic, requiring a creative approach to problem solving and the ability to think strategically. The firm is looking to recruit an individual with financial services experience to assist in business analysis, project support and data analytics for both ongoing and expected areas of focus for the Finance department. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in a variety of Finance functions, specifically with regards to data analysis and streamlining processes. Candidate must not only have the ability to discover potential issues, but have the experience, know-how and intelligence to be able to propose and implement solutions to those issues. Primary responsibilities will be understanding department needs, actively creating both tactical and strategic solutions using a variety of business products, and support of existing book of Alteryx workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a strong academic record
Strong analytical skills and high degree of accuracy with a passion for data quality
Solid understanding of financial products and asset management industry
Proficient in Alteryx, Excel
Detail oriented teammate who can prioritize in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
Ability to work independently and in ambiguous environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good teammate with a willingness to participate and help others

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Fund Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Geneva, Oracle general ledger very helpful
Knowledge of SQL, Claude Code, Python, general AI knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Identify areas for improvement and work with individual groups to implement solutions
Contribute to, or lead, various projects that may arise out of the aforementioned activities
Help maintain and support existing processes developed by the Finance Projects and Strategies team
