About The Position
The Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance Co-Pilot for Europe, AOA & LatAm, supports profitable growth of the VMS portfolio as a financial business partner across multiple regions. The role partners with the Senior Finance Director and teams across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Supply Chain to provide strategic financial insights for decision-making and business performance. The position leads financial planning and forecasting, supports Monthly Business Planning, evaluates innovation initiatives, and contributes to forecast accuracy and P&L performance. It analyzes spending trends, identifies risks and opportunities, monitors actual results against budget, and highlights potential variances. The role also evaluates the financial impact of distribution opportunities, analyzes profitability across planning and forecasting cycles, translates financial data into actionable insights, and contributes to special projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Accounting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify opportunities and risks, and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience with SAP, BW, and advanced Excel tools, including PivotTables.
- Strong understanding of key drivers of product profitability and P&L performance.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and present actionable insights in a concise, structured manner.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and activity-based costing methodologies.
- Ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Results-oriented self-starter with initiative, intellectual curiosity, and an end-to-end business mindset.
- Commitment to accurate financial analysis, first-time quality, and thoughtful, value-added business insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive business results.

- Experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS), preferred for internal candidates.
Responsibilities
- Support product innovation and renovation initiatives through financial modeling and P&L scenario analysis.
- Manage the full P&L budget with Sales and Marketing, including budget reviews, monthly forecast phasing, approval of budget adjustments, and Price vs. RIG analysis.
- Collaborate with Finance Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities.
- Support accurate monthly P&L forecasts through participation in business planning and trade meetings, and maintain forecast data in the FIT reporting tool.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to cross-functional teams on manufacturing cost and product mix strategy.
- Support Period End Close activities by ensuring P&L accuracy and integrity, conducting variance analysis, developing financial reports, and preparing presentations.
- Assess and improve financial processes and reporting practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Analyze spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, monitor actual results against budget, and highlight potential variances.
- Assess the financial impact of distribution opportunities and analyze profitability across annual planning and forecasting cycles.
- Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives.
