About The Position

This role is for a Senior Field Service Supervisor at Automated Logic, a Carrier Company. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in the building automation and controls or HVAC industry.
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Clean and valid driver’s license
  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to travel regionally with an occasional overnight stay.

  • Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
  • Field experience and an understanding of the installation and operation of Automated Logic Controls and ability to understand/navigate third party control systems and integrations.
  • Experience with Automated Logic software to include: WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, InterOp 3.02, Alert, Draw, EDB, Eikon and Supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary documentation and communication to all customer levels, sub-contractors, and ALC Department Management.
  • Follow up on all daily log collection (Cora PPM) for the Field Engineers working for you and ensure timely delivery to New Construction Administration and Project Managers.
  • Professionally represent Automated Logic in meetings and defend the company’s best interest.
  • Lead, document, and participate in yearly and semi-yearly performance reviews for all employees.
  • Communicate with Engineering, Graphics developers and programmers to provide feedback on quality, accuracy and standards development.
  • Thoroughly understand project budgets for negotiated projects that are executed by the Field Supervisor’s team.
  • Continuously monitor work being performed by FE to ensure Quality Control and provide continuous feedback to direct reports regarding performance, budgets and quality.
  • Escalate any personnel concerns and proactively manage expectations of employees.
  • Attend and actively participate in turnover meetings, Pre bid meetings and other important meetings.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager in maximizing execution of projects by coordinating task assignment in Cora PPM.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with Project Managers and the Branch Operations Managers to collaborate in assigning resources for all projects.
  • Provide input to the Project Manager as to when resources will be needed on the project, including graphics, programming and technical checkout.
  • Coordinate project schedule with electrical subcontractors and other trades to maintain schedule.
  • Maintain continuous communications with FE’s, Project Managers, Customers and other trades to ensure consistent understanding of the project schedule.
  • Become proficient on all necessary ALC programming and graphical work for their assigned projects.
  • Provide technical assistance when needed and utilize other FE’s to meet project schedule when workload dictates.
  • Help develop and improve company standards.
  • Develop Mentoring plans and continuously train new and current FE’s.
  • Participate in peer reviews, turnover meetings, post mortem meetings and close out meetings as required.
  • Assist in development of training and mentoring plans.
  • Participate in and conduct interviews with potential candidates.
  • Attends seminars, enrolls in self-study courses, and undertakes other self-improvement measures to maintain proficiency and improve job performance.
