This Sr. Field Service Engineer position reports to the Northeast Supervisor, is part of the US Northeast Field Service Team within Beckman Coulter Life Science, and will be fully REMOTE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Servicing Beckman Coulter products at the customer facility. Cultivating customer relationships and supporting commercial initiatives. Driving a sense of urgency to ensure the customer needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on a “first time fix” through the problem-solving process.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science OR equivalent military experience (working on any mechanical, technical, laboratory, pneumatic or any related instruments).
  • 3+ year's experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges with instrumentation using a variety of methods.
  • Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: This position requires up to 70% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays.
  • Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • This position requires the ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
