About The Position

As a Sr. Field Marketing Manager, you will serve as the CMO for our Global business line and be an essential part of the Go-To-Market team. You will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction of our Global sales segment (Fortune 500 companies) and will own the marketing and demand generation efforts needed to build pipeline. Your role will involve developing a best-in-class ecosystem of security expertise to build market credibility and define the trajectory of our Global business. Success in this role will directly result in millions of dollars of pipeline created from the largest companies globally. This position is based in our Austin, San Mateo (HQ), Salt Lake City, or New York City offices, with travel expected.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Marketing.
  • Strong ability to logistically execute multiple concurrent events requiring effective pre/during/post motions and communication among cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with channel or strategic partners to plan and execute programs that achieve excellent results.
  • Strong ability to qualitatively and quantitatively develop understanding of main personas driving the procurement process and Verkada’s value proposition.
  • Proven ability to act as an advisor and peer with sales leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to execute in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record executing creative or out-of-the-box event and demand generation programs.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
  • Inbox 0 mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main counterpart to sales leadership and "pipeline czar" of your aligned segment, working with the sales team to ensure pipeline goals are met to achieve revenue targets.
  • Execute best-in-class regional and local campaigns, both direct and with partners, including Verkada-hosted events, regional trade shows, and local webinars.
  • Execute account-based marketing programs on behalf of sales and demonstrate to reps how they can execute program elements independently.
  • Drive local, high-touch, thought leadership, and customer executive collaboration and community initiatives focused on physical security and the cloud.
  • Advise the corporate and broader demand generation hub on the development, planning, execution, and measurement of supporting, highly impactful demand generation and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with top channel partners to develop their overall marketing and customer engagement approach.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketers to build necessary positioning, messaging, customer advocacy, and assets for the Global segment.
  • Travel 30-40% of the time.
