About The Position

Metropolitan Family Services (MFS) is seeking a Senior Field Manager for its Metropolitan Peace Academy (MPA) office. MFS is an organization dedicated to empowering families to learn, earn, heal, and thrive, with a strong emphasis on community. This role is crucial in coordinating and overseeing Field Managers and Crisis Responders within the CPRU program, ensuring effective deployment strategies and providing on-the-ground support. The position involves significant stakeholder management and requires a deep understanding of community dynamics and intervention strategies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 4+ years of successful street outreach, required.
• Experience with leading or supervising a team, required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Firsthand knowledge of the community and knowledge of current street conflicts, required.
• In-depth knowledge of the principles of nonviolence, restorative justice, and trauma-informed practices.

Nice To Haves

• A graduate of the Metropolitan Peace Academy, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Significant experience working with high-risk, street-involved individuals (Or currently enrolled in a bachelorette program), preferred.
• Experience or training in crisis intervention, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the daily activities of Field Managers and Crisis Responders within CPRU.
• Conduct regular field compliance checks for MPI partner organizations and communities.
• Provide oversight into the deployment strategy for assigned CPRU staff members.
• Conduct strategy planning and debrief meetings.
• Serve as points of contact in real-time (coordination with other Regional Leads, CPD) on the ground to inform the field management team of any technical support needed.
• Provide technical support to the field in implementing new strategies that demonstrate program model fidelity, golden thread documentation, collaboration across communities and use of evaluation feedback to inform practice.
• Facilitate and manage relationships with a broad array of stakeholders including community-based organizations, gang intervention leaders, law enforcement, academics and other subject matter experts.
• Other duties assigned.
