The Senior Field Administrator (SRFA) assumes ultimate accountability for clinical and business operations at assigned agency location(s) with revenue that is $50 million +. They serve as a back up to the Regional Vice President, Home Health and provide oversight of the coordination of all clinical disciplines involved in providing quality, cost-effective billable care under the direction of the physician. The SRFA is responsible for maintaining relationships with our partners to achieve clinical excellence outcomes, regulatory compliance, patient and employee satisfaction, in a fiscally responsible manner. The SRFA understands and practices all legal and company rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the budget and other key performance indicators such as admissions, recertifications, VPE, LUPA, etc. Adhere to and participate in the agency’s mandatory HIPAA privacy program and employee compliance program. Manage performance to meet established standards and processes; ensure agency success on performance metrics by adhering to training, processes, and budgetary constraints. Provide oversight for overall operational performance to meet goals on key performance indicators, developing action plans as needed to ensure agency success. Collaborate with partners to reach quality and process measure goals related to star ratings, hospital utilization, patient and employee satisfaction. Lead service expansion within assigned market. Keeps abreast of industry benchmarks and continuously strives to organize implementation efforts to achieve top decile or quartile of benchmark. Adhere to the organizations policies and procedures within Medicare and federal guidelines Interact with individuals (internal clinical teams, patient family member, physician, etc.) as applicable via phone, email and/or face to face concerning patient care Assume accountability for documentation and clinical charting practices in accordance with agency protocol and Medicare/Federal/State guidelines Review all policies and procedures for compliance with local, state and federal regulations Implement policy, procedures and quality improvement programs in the field Monitor patient trends and outcomes Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in field of expertise Maintain a professional appearance and Cultural Fit as a representative of the company Other duties as assigned This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Nursing, or other relevant area
  • Minimum of 5-years supervisory or administrator experience in post-acute care setting or related health programs required.
  • Expertise and home healthcare background for multiple sites preferred.
  • Knowledge of guidelines governing home health agencies.
  • Ability to create positive impressions and maintain effective communication with a variety of people
  • Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to monitor the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
  • Ability to oversee and be a visionary to make appropriate clinical, operational, and business development judgements.
  • Operational knowledge of HCHB software, PDA’s, ADP, Microsoft Office & Outlook preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, if multiple locations.
