About The Position

Perform budget execution activities as assigned. This may include extracting, analyzing, summarizing and preparing data for presentation from the financial system, travel system, purchase card tool, etc. Manage multiple Spend Plans, conduct reconciliation between the financial reports and the spend plan; identify inconsistencies or imbalances, collaborate with stakeholders and provide recommendation / mitigation strategy to address the issues/concerns. Track commitments, obligations, expenditures using systems like the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS). Provide support in building and maintaining budget dashboards in PowerBI. Analyze financial data and prepare complex financial reports and briefings. Allocate and track funding across multiple subdivisions and program codes. Reconcile plan funding with actual expenditures.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • SEVEN (7) or more years experience in the federal budget process, federal budget lifecycle, and the federal procurement process
  • Proficient in MS applications: including Excel, Word, PPT, PowerBI
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • PowerApps Development Experience
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
