As a Senior Factory Financial Analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to the Electrification Installation Products “ELIP” in Ormond Beach, FL, benchmarking KPIs while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial performance, identifying trends relevant to the business. Reporting to the Business Controller, you will study business performance, including financial modelling, to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement. Candidates for this position must be able to work an in-person schedule in the Ormond Beach, FL manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing finance/accounting roles, including STD cost roll
  • ERP experience including SAP, LX or related financial systems
  • Knowledge of Power BI, macros and Ai for finance will be a huge differential
  • Strong Microsoft EXCEL (beyond basics functions as of as Pivot table, VLOOKUP, xlookups and sumifs)
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
  • Naturally engaged and focused on making the difference and challenge the status quo
  • Owner mentality to drive improvements and influence people is key to succeeding
  • Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US

Responsibilities

  • Communicating information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans
  • Leading the preparation of financial reports, business planning, budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations
  • Month-end activities to include (but not limited too): account analysis, account reconciliation, journal entry creation, posting and review, inventory analysis, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Fixed asset monitoring, analysis, review, and reporting
  • Simplification and automatization of manual processes by developing automated solutions (macros, AI tools, Power BI, etc)
  • Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
  • Maintaining audit trails and documentation for future audit requests
