About The Position

The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the facility matches the premium member experience. This role involves running a structured preventative maintenance program, executing repairs effectively, coordinating with external trades, and maintaining the building's safety, compliance, and operational standards. The focus is on anticipation, planning, and prevention rather than waiting for issues to arise.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a skilled trades role.
Broad technical capability across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry.
Experience running or contributing to a structured preventative maintenance program.
Ability to read and interpret as-builts, schematics, and O&M manuals.
Valid driver's license.
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, maintained annually.
Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program, including scheduled PM tasks for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, fitness equipment, and common areas to ensure systems operate before failure.
Perform general repairs and reactive maintenance, accurately diagnosing issues, fixing them properly, and ensuring they do not recur.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized work, managing relationships, schedules, and standards.
Ensure the building is code-compliant and audit-ready, prioritizing safety.
Maintain records and documentation, including as-builts, schematics, O&M manuals, spare parts inventory in the CMMS, and work order logs.
