About The Position

The Senior Facilities Inventory & Procurement Specialist is a senior individual contributor responsible for governing facilities and maintenance materials processes, MRO inventory strategy, CMMS data integrity, and procurement execution. This role establishes and maintains standards for spare parts and material planning, purchasing workflows, vendor performance, communication, and inventory accuracy to support preventive maintenance, facilities & maintenance operations, and urgent machine down events. The position provides functional leadership and subject matter expertise for facilities and maintenance materials activities in a highly flexible, production driven environment. The role partners closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Accounting to ensure timely availability of materials and services, cost control, and high-quality data across CMMS and ERP systems. Establishes and trains on standard work, safety practices, and 5S/6S with visual controls for central and remote stock locations. Owns the cycle count program; performs variance root cause analysis; implements corrective actions; conducts scheduled audits for locations outside the cycle program. Defines stocking strategies for critical spares, min/max levels, and PM kitting standards; approves substitutions and obsolescence plans to support uptime. Develops and publishes inventory KPIs (turns, fill rate, stockouts, excess/obsolete); leads continuous improvement projects that improve service level and working capital. Coordinates sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for MRO parts and services; maintains vendor scorecards and service level agreements. Prepares AFEs/CapEx justifications; collaborates with Engineering and Purchasing on new automation builds, BOM standardization, and long lead spares. Reviews/approves invoices; resolves pricing/receipt discrepancies; expedites materials for machine down events as needed. Serves as CMMS process owner (item masters, locations, UOMs, vendor records, PM kit templates, reporting standards); ensures data integrity between CMMS and ERP for pricing, receipts, and valuation. Trains technicians and inventory staff on CMMS and inventory best practices; champions adherence to procedures and data standards. Owns MRO inventory strategy and lifecycle from stocking to obsolescence. Delivers cost reduction initiatives consistent with uptime and safety goals. Supports both Facilities Maintenance and Operations Maintenance material and service requirements, balancing planned work and urgent downtime response. Ensures compliance with company policies, safety/quality requirements, and PPE rules in office and manufacturing areas; promptly reports and addresses hazards. Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor. Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas. Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing and training team members in maintenance materials, MRO procurement, or industrial supply chain
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse/inventory control and purchasing practices
  • Effective vendor negotiation and relationship management
  • Proficiency with CMMS and ERP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • KPI development and analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and exercise independent judgment on significant operational matters
  • Ability to write and read English
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10+ years progressive experience in MRO inventory, facilities/maintenance procurement, or industrial supply chain, including people supervision
