About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our client, a prominent organization in the banking sector. You will be part of a newly created Scrum team working alongside experienced colleagues to develop new services and solutions in the Embedded Banking Service Domain (Payments Service Area). Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position. The chosen candidate will sign a cooperation agreement directly with Optiveum.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of proven experience in Java software development.
• Hands-on experience developing Microservices.
• Solid background with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Db2).
• Familiarity with building distributed, highly available applications.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Practical knowledge of modern tools and technologies including Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development (SDD) and SDD frameworks.
