This is a full-time position in a senior executive management assistant role. This level requires an annual employment contract that will be renewed based on performance objectives being met. Due to the renewal of contract requirements, this position is classified/labeled as limited term, however, is considered a full-time position with benefits. Serves as a key member of the senior management team supporting the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Department. Acts as a primary liaison between the COO, Director, department staff, the Governor's Office, governmental agencies, the legislature, industry partners, and the general public. Provides high-level administrative and executive support that requires a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy. This role demands a broad understanding of the COO's priorities and the department's vision, mission, goals, and functions to ensure effective communication, coordination, and execution of departmental initiatives. The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Senior Executive Management Assistant (SEMA) 13 position. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
