About The Position

Under the direction of the Player Development Manager the Senior Casino Host is responsible for providing exceptional guest service for premium players, developing new players from off property and may authorize requests by Casino and Executive Hosts for guest complimentaries to be issued under the established guidelines of management. The Senior Casino Host is highly visible and interactive with premium guests building loyalty and increasing revenue by developing and effectively maintaining relationships with VIP guests through personal contact on the casino floor, special events, telephone, written communication and attends / hosts on property and off property events as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
  • Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skill in order to promote positive and professional image.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience managing casino player credit lines is preferred.
  • 3-5 years casino host experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years applicable knowledge of casino games (Slots and Table Games), telemarketing and casino patron sales techniques is preferred.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Asian languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts selected players by telephone and other means to inform them of special events with goal of incenting a future visit and subsequent gaming revenue.
  • Mentors and develops the Casino Host and Executive Host teams.
  • Highly knowledgeable of credit procedures.
  • Assist Player Development Management in planning casino events, off property opportunities and diversity outreach
  • Makes decisions regarding valuable complimentary rewards.
  • Authorizes Casino Hosts and Executive host issuance of complimentary reward under the established guidelines of management.
  • Represent the casino at on and off property events in the capacity of a player Development Executive.
  • Enhance growth of gaming revenues by developing internal player identified by the Player Development Manager
  • Assist the Player Development Manager with business development programs to increase guest visits.
  • Develops relationship with VIP players to grow VIP player base and increase Company revenues by assuring customer retention and repeat business.
  • Assist with special events, slots and table games departmental promotions, and operation and booking of gaming tournaments.
  • Achieve department and individual performance goal and duties in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with all tribal ordinances, regulations, and systems of Internal Controls.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Including nights, weekend, and holidays.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
