About The Position

The Asian Executive Host is responsible for the recognition and maintaining of high worth, primarily Asian guests (VIP Guests) of the Seneca Gaming Corporation. The incumbent in this position will assist the Vice President of Asian Marketing in a managing the Asian Casino Hosts, short and long-range plan to increase revenues and maintain department goals. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service and experience with the Asian community required; preferably both in the US, Canada and abroad.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  • Have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Have the ability to speak fluently, read or write in Chinese and preferably other Asian languages and dialects. Must be able to communicate verbally in English.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide the highest level of Customer Service to VIP Guests at all times. Abide by all departmental policies and procedures to ensure the highest service is delivered to guests.
  • Executive Asian Casino Host will be responsible for the development of an established database. This development will be quantified and measured by increased play, trips and profitability of this assigned group. The Executive Asian Casino Host must meet the minimum standards in regards to lift and incremental gaming activity.
  • Assist the VP of Asian Marketing in managing the Asian Marketing Department. Will assist in developing work schedules and assignments for the Asian Casino Hosts and Administrative Assistant.
  • Assist in Asian public relations and the development and creation of Asian marketing materials and events.
  • Communicate to VIP Guests by mail, E-mail, written or oral communication (may be spokesperson at VIP Events) of promotions, entertainment & sporting events.
  • Educate and encourage participation by VIP Guests to use player club cards.
  • Participate in and promote the development of an extensive Customer Service Training program as needed/required.
  • Utilize the player tracking system to promote the increase in player’s club participation by VIP Guests.
  • Assist the Vice President of Asian Marketing in tracking information and completing reports as needed/required.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters.
  • Work closely with Marketing/Asian Marketing to develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly promotions and Slots/Table Games to assist them with the identification and retention of premium customers.
  • Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
  • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
  • Attend all necessary meetings.
