About The Position

SA Recycling is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the Regional Manager overseeing our Georgia operations. This is not a traditional administrative role—this position plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting financial oversight, and ensuring seamless execution across the region. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting or finance, thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, and demonstrates exceptional judgment, discretion, and business acumen

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior leadership (Executive, VP, or regional level)
  • Strong background in accounting, finance, or business operations (required)
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
  • Proven ability to operate independently, think critically, and solve problems proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must pass a medical physical and drug test
  • Must pass a Credit and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Scrap recycling environments, multi-site operations, industrial, manufacturing
  • Familiarity financial reporting tools
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-state leadership teams
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic right-hand to the Regional Manager, anticipating needs and proactively driving priorities
  • Oversee complex calendar management, meeting cadence, and regional coordination across multiple sites
  • Support financial operations including budget tracking, expense management, reporting, and invoice oversight
  • Prepare high-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for regional and corporate leadership
  • Act as a liaison between the Regional Manager and internal departments, yard managers, and corporate teams
  • Manage and streamline administrative and operational processes to improve efficiency
  • Lead and support special projects, including cross-functional initiatives and process improvements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive business and financial information
  • Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
  • Act as a point of contact between the Regional Manager and internal/external stakeholders
  • Support and implement special projects and initiatives across the Georgia region
  • Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are executed with accuracy and attention to detail
