Requirements

  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ relevant experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ leadership experience with progressively greater responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must possess a DOD Secret Security clearance
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Office products and Office Automation
  • Experience in executive level administrative support or supporting senior management officials at the flag/General Officer/Senior Executive/GS-15 or O-6 level

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with DoD (Department of Defense) or equivalent is strongly preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required at start.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership and clear, positive direction for a team of nine (9) Executive Assistant (EA) staff across four locations all directly supporting Senior Government Leaders.
  • Ensure delivery of contract requirements using experience and proactive problem solving.
  • Support the client as a Senior Executive Assistant when needed and temporarily backfill any role on the team.
  • Ensure seamless team-focused operations by the EAs to support the client’s Mission.
  • Lead and Manage proactively identifying potential process improvements to improve support for the client’s Mission.
  • Drive the EA’s #1 mission to make the Government Leadership successful.
  • Drive proactive problem solving and planning that includes the standard practice of creating backup plans and redundancy to avoid a single point of failure.
  • Drive the standard practice of responding immediately and with a sense of urgency to any request from the client or suggested change from the client.
  • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Ensure EAs follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct periodic review of SOPs to ensure best practices are applied to ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Approve work schedules and coverage requirements for the team at all four locations.
  • Create, provide quality assurance review, and submit monthly reports and deliverables to the client on time and free of errors.
  • Work with Division Director and Vice President to set budget for the project to ensure financial success.
