About The Position

Progyny’s events manager owns the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of Progyny’s B2B events portfolio, ensuring events meaningfully support pipeline growth, consultant and health plan influence, and brand presence in the benefits market. This role sits within the Enterprise Marketing team and works closely with our commercial organization. This person balances strategic planning and operational excellence, translating market priorities into high‑impact conferences, field events and hosted experiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B events in healthcare benefits
  • Proven experience managing large conferences and complex, multi‑stakeholder events
  • Strong project management skills with end‑to‑end budget ownership
  • Comfortable partnering with Sales and navigating competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, and execution‑focused, with strong communication skills
  • Candidates must be based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own Progyny’s annual events strategy and calendar, aligned to sales priorities, pipeline coverage, and key market moments
  • Plan a mix of marquee conferences, field events, hosted dinners, webinars, and partner events that support employer, labor, consultant, channel partner and health plan audiences
  • Evaluate sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and hosted experiences to maximize influence and ROI
  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of in‑person and virtual events, including budgets, vendors, logistics, timelines, and onsite management
  • Oversee event platforms, registration workflows, lead capture, and post‑event data handoff to Sales and Marketing
  • Ensure consistent, high‑quality Progyny brand presence across booths, signage, collateral, and swag
  • Partner closely with commercial leadership to align events to target accounts
  • Collaborate with Consultant Relations, Health Plans, and Channel Partnerships to support co‑hosted and partner‑driven events
  • Act as the central point of coordination across Enterprise Marketing, Digital, Content, and Creative for event support
  • Partner with marketing Operations & Analytics to review and interpret event performance insights, including attendance quality, engagement, pipeline influence, and follow‑up outcomes
  • Use performance insights and market context to inform event strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions
  • Stay informed on competitor event presence, sponsorships, and speaking activity, leveraging insights to guide strategic choices
  • Manage and mentor events team members and external vendors/agencies
  • Establish scalable processes, run‑of‑shows, and playbooks to support a growing events program
