Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role
• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud data services (AWS & GCP may also be considered)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS
• Power BI integration for actionable analytics using SQL
• Advanced SQL for data transformation and pipeline development
• Experience Reporting Platform with Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills
• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

Nice To Haves

• ETL development, data transformation, and orchestration tools
• Spark job and cluster performance tuning for cost and scalability optimization
• Oracle PI/SQL developer experience
• Jenkins (CI/CD)
• Microsoft Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, low-latency data pipelines to ingest and transform diverse datasets leveraging Cloud Data Platforms.
• Design and optimize Data Lake architectures and creating, efficient, reliable, and governed data storage.
• Partner closely with data scientists and business analysts to deliver clean, validated, and well-modeled datasets that support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
• Led quantitative data analysis using SQL in databases and providing report summary with data visualization tools as Tableau
• Implement best practices including automated deployments, version control with Git, and infrastructure-as-code for robust, repeatable data engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Power BI teams to develop performant and scalable reporting solutions by developing multiple SSIS jobs in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Data Modeling in various data architectures and creating ETLs for transporting data.
