Senior Equipment Technician, Cleans
About The Position
In this role as an Equipment Technician you'll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent military experience with a focus on electronics (e.g., Avionics, Navy nuclear), or 3+ years semionductor or high-volume manufacturing.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Fast learner who adapts to new systems and procedural change.
- Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Knowledge of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, planning, and action plan execution.
- Ability to lift and move equipment/ supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing/walking for 10+ hrs. daily.
Nice To Haves
- 300mm Cleans (Wet Etch) experience.
- Maintenance experience with DNS (single wafer and batch), SEMES (single wafer), TEL CERTAS/LEAGA, TEL NS300, TEL Cellesta I, FSI Antares, and LAM C360 equipment models.
Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled and corrective maintenance according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Respond to equipment faults and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Analyze data and verify quality metrics.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of work, and communicate equipment status during shifts.
- Operate safely in a cleanroom environment using a cleanroom suit.
- Carry out maintenance tasks while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
