About The Position

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior or Lead Equipment Operator at our Montgomery County Grinding Operation located in Derwood, MD. This position provides mainly commercial driving services for MES clients at various field locations. Responsibilities also include operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, and forklifts.

Requirements

Graduation from a standard high school or GED
3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
Proficiency with at least two types of heavy equipment
Working knowledge of the essential maintenance checks on multiple types of equipment including accessing compartments, hydraulic fluid levels, engine oil, coolant, grease points, etc.
Ability to work independently to execute job tasks.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
