Requirements
- Doctoral Degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, MD, DrPH) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working as a collaborative research scientist in an academic medical center or similar environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of the Center for Biostatistics to evaluate, expand and monitor current clinical research programs within the orthopedics research program.
- Assist in developing partnerships between clinicians, surgeons and basic/translational investigators at HSS and other institutions nationally and internationally.
- Collaborate with clinical investigators across all service lines to design, execute, and analyze research studies
- Help to develop and support the establishment of new programmatic research themes.
- Work to build comprehensive strategic efforts to better support our research mission.
- Serve on or support the IRB and related review committees as determined by the Director of the HSS Center for Biostatistics.
