About The Position

One of Airetel Staffing's valued clients is looking for a Senior Epic Systems Analyst located in Remote. This role is responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting assigned Epic Payer Platform applications. Key responsibilities include conducting business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes, designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting Epic Payer Platform software to meet user needs, working with end-users to identify and resolve system issues, developing and documenting workflow analysis while evaluating user experience, supporting and maintaining the environment or applications using knowledge of the applications and technologies in the environment while recommending enterprise-level solutions, using knowledge of Epic, configuring changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows, making decisions that refine and improve current practices and developing new approaches (researching and assessing new technologies or functionality), and contributing to and managing medium to large projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders. Requires analytical skills (problem solving, root cause analysis) to complete complex assignments and ability to visualize, articulate and solve complex problems. Analyst is able to independently initiate process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
  • Epic Application Certification/Accreditation.
  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field; 5 years healthcare industry experience, preferably in the insurance segment, in lieu of degree.
  • Epic certification in one or more Payer Platform modules (e.g., Payer Platform Core, Payer Platform Member Experience, Tapestry) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Payer Platform solutions in a healthcare setting.
