About The Position

As a Senior EPC Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our EPC projects. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support project success. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in a Contractor or EPC. Energy experience a plus
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with financial reporting and tax preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Accounting: Input and manage the Project Module in Oracle ERP as well as the financial aspects of projects capitalized in development and construction stages, including project cost capitalization, cost segregations, project cost actual vs. budgeting and financial analysis.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Conduct month-end, quarter-close and year-end close processes, including CIP account reconciliations and assisting GL team for EPC financial statement preparation.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks associated with EPC projects.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
